Theralpine Chiller Pro | Ice Bath Water Chiller

The Rhone and Chiller Pro bundle includes the insulated Rhone ice tub and lid, the Theralpine Chiller Pro (0 °C to 42 °C, ozone and 20-micron filtration), two hoses, the setup kit with adapters, valves, and seals, and four replacement filters. Everything to plunge, cool, and keep the water clean from day one.

Down to 0 °C. With Rhone's insulation holding the cold, it keeps your set temperature steady between sessions. With 1 HP the Chiller Pro reaches low temperatures quickly too.

Yes. It runs from 0 °C to 42 °C, so the same unit does both cold plunges and hot soaks.

In our real-world test at 26 °C ambient, it cooled 250 L inside Rhone at 6.5 °C per hour, taking water from 20 °C to 10 °C in under 90 minutes. If the ambient temperature is colder, it cools faster (up to 8.5 °C per hour) or slower in very hot conditions. Chiller Pro's performance is easily sufficient up to 45 °C ambient.

You can, through the app, for temperature, scheduling, and monitoring. You do not need a phone day to day though, the unit has an onboard touchscreen.

Surprisingly little. Because Rhone's insulation holds the cold, the Chiller Pro barely runs once you are at temperature: roughly €27 a year versus about €400 for a poorly insulated tub.* It draws power mainly while actively cooling, and barely any in standby. Honestly, the lowest running costs come from using the scheduling feature and following the guidance in our manual.

Yes, Theralpine Chiller Pro is designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Its IPX5-rated housing protects against rain and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for outdoor environments. For optimal performance and long-term reliability, we recommend placing the chiller in a shaded, well-ventilated, and covered location. While IPX5 ensures resistance to splashes and rain, it is not intended for prolonged exposure to extreme weather, standing water / snow, or water submersion. Users are responsible for protecting the unit from such conditions. Improper use or failure to shield the chiller may void warranty coverage in case of damage.

If temperatures are below freezing, it's better not to. Water inside it can freeze and expand, which can strain or even damage internal components, so bring the Chiller Pro indoors once temperatures drop below zero. The Rhone tub itself can stay outside without worry.
