Maurice’s journey with cold therapy began in the Swiss Alps, when a friend challenged him to sit in a freezing mountain lake for three minutes. The experience was brutal, but something clicked: the energy boost, the clarity, the feeling after. It left a lasting impression.
What followed was a deep dive into products, routines, and methods, but a growing frustration emerged with tubs that didn’t deliver. Weak insulation, limited durability, and lack of real-world functionality made most options feel like wasted potential and hard to justify for the price.
With years of entrepreneurial experience and a hands-on approach, Maurice now focuses on building products that deliver true value starting with a cold plunge designed for households with limited space, without compromising on quality or performance.

Etienne first discovered the benefits of cold therapy over a decade ago while managing a chronic hip condition as a college basketball player in the US. Ice baths helped reduce inflammation, ease pain, and keep him in the game.
With a background in design and filmmaking, Etienne brings a sharp sense of storytelling and visual clarity to Theralpine’s creative direction. He shapes the entire brand experience, from look and feel to voice and tone, ensuring a cohesive, considered identity. His eye for detail brings that identity to life through products that are refined, functional, and visually compelling.
Swiss Engineering & EU Manufacturing
Rhone was designed and engineered entirely by Theralpine. From the shape and insulation to every last detail, we poured our heart and soul into it. We manufacture with leading European production partners who have decades of experience in rotational molding and insulated containers for professional applications. Every unit is inspected and shipped directly from our European warehouse.
